We have been avoiding the candy dish for years. We go out of our way to skip the island of chocolate calling to us at the grocery store. The Twizzlers and M&Ms jump into our bucket of popcorn at the movie theater, and we willfully put them back in their slot. We place the sinful little delights deep in our cabinets for the temptation to be at peace. Until now, medical experts equate eating sugary sweets as addictive as narcotics.
