Make Autumn Happy And Celebrate With These 3 Creative Ideas.

Hi, Creative Friends-

Autumn is almost in full swing. Pumpkins are popping up in the local markets, the scent of cinnamon spice is lingering in the air, and a shift from warm summer nights to cool crisp mornings is here. Which makes it a good time to start to celebrate the season that brings us so much creative inspiration.

This week, here are 3 creative ideas to celebrate and make Autumn happy…

  1. Cheers To Fall: Delicious, cozy fall beverages are falling into coffee shop menus everywhere. Is there a better way to mark Autumn’s season’s splendor than a secret recipe for a creamy fall beverage? Here is a secret recipe for The Perfect Chai Latte that can be made right in a home kitchen. This drink is a little bit spicy, a tiny bit sweet, and a whole big cup of delicious. It is a perfect way to kick off the season of snuggles and sweaters. However, if temperatures are still riding high, try creating the best milkshake of the season: The Ultimate Apple Pie Milkshake which celebrates autumn’s most delicious and perfect apple, the Honeycrisp, to make one decadent milkshake.

  2. Decorate & Celebrate: Adding a splash of fall decor to a table, mantel, or front door can get the creative juices going and help toast and greet the autumnal shift. The fabulous interior decorator Emily Henderson gives us simple fall decorating ideas in this post “1 Mantel 3 Ways” to effortlessly greet our home to fall. Decorate simply by adding a few mini gourds and an autumn-themed art print like this “Happy Fall Y’all” and let the happy autumn celebrations begin.

  3. Leaf Looking Art: When stepping outside this autumn, observe the color and shape of the fall leaves. Whether a leaf is a scarlet-hued Maple, rust-stained Oak, or a mustard-colored Ginko, each can be deeply inspiring! Pick a few lovely leaves to bring them home. Then try leaf rubbing with Sakura Cray-Pas, paper, and watercolors. Find the wonderful tutorial here on “Leaf Rubbings” from Art Bar and if you want more wonderful ideas on how to make art for kids of all ages try the book “Art Workshop For Children” by Barbara Rucci.
