Say Hello To A Happy Fall And Celebrate With These 3 Creative Ideas.

Hi, Creative Friends-

Autumn is almost in full swing. Pumpkins are appearing in the local markets, the scent of cinnamon spice is lingering in the air, and we can feel a shift from warm summer nights to cool crisp mornings. Which makes it a good time to start to celebrate the season that brings us so much creative inspiration.

This week, here are 3 creative ideas to celebrate and say hello to fall…

  1. Cheers To Fall: Delicious, cozy fall beverages are falling into coffee shop menus everywhere. Is there a better way to mark Autumn’s splendor than sipping a warm and creamy fall treat? Here is a secret recipe for The Perfect Chai Latte that can be made right in a home kitchen. This drink is a little bit spicy, a tiny bit sweet, and a whole big cup of delicious. It is a perfect way to kick off the season of snuggles and sweaters.

  2. Decorate & Celebrate: Adding a splash of fall decor to a table, mantel, or front door can get the creative juices going and help toast and greet the autumnal shift. The fabulous interior decorator Emily Henderson gives us simple fall decorating ideas in this post “1 Mantel 3 Ways” to effortlessly greet our home to fall. Decorate simply by adding a few mini gourds and an autumn-themed art print like this “Happy Fall Y’all” and let the happy autumn celebrations begin.

  3. Leaf Looking Art: When stepping outside this autumn, observe the color and shape of the fall leaves. Whether a leaf is a scarlet-hued Maple, rust-stained Oak, or mustard-colored Ginko, each can be deeply inspiring! Pick a few lovely leaves to bring them home. Then try leaf rubbing with Sakura Cray-Pas, paper, and watercolors. Here Are 3 Creative Ways To Joyfully Catch A Falling Autumn Leaf.

Hi, Creative Friends-

Autumn is just around the corner. Did you know if you catch a falling leaf it’s good luck? It can be hard to find time to wait patiently for luck to fall into our lives and for joy to follow so…

This week, here are 3 creative ideas on how to joyfully catch an Autumn leaf and watch luck follow…

  1. Get The Gold: Andrew Goldsworthy is a British-born artist who uses nature to sculpt works of art, including beautiful displays of perfectly arranged fall leaves. His work and story can be found in “Living Your Wild Creativity”, a short documentary on Youtube. It’s hard not to feel joyful when we take in his natural creations are try building something similar using the nature around us.

  2. A Falling DIY: Finding Autumn’s joy was never more beautiful or easy with this DIY Falling Leaf Garland. Go out into nature, find a lovely tree branch, print the FREE Leaf Printable, and gather a few other supplies. This DIY easily comes together to bring joyful inspiration wherever it is displayed this Autumn.

  3. Bathe Outside: A great way to create mental luck and joy is to get out and walk in nature. The term for just taking in the forest, through our senses, is called “Forest Bathing.” In Japan, it’s called shinrin-yoku or and it’s simply about being in and soaking up nature. It’s September! It isn’t officially autumn but it IS time to get ready for days brimming with warm greetings, baking with dashes of cardamon, and curling up in a warm sweater to do something creative. That’s why…

This week, here are 3 creative ideas to celebrate September 1st…

  1. Greetings For Fall Y’all: Greeting a new season in a new way, whether it’s mentally taking a moment to celebrate the switch from one season to the next or purchasing something beautiful to celebrate a new beginning can inspire happiness! Try framing and placing this “Happy Fall Y’all” art print on a mantel or display it on a door. A simple act can spread and help celebrate the autumn shift in such a big way!

  2. Delicious To The Core: Last year, I shared a secret recipe: The Ultimate Apple Pie Milkshake which uses autumn’s crazy delicious and perfect apple, the Honeycrisp, to make the most divinely, decadent milkshake. You can find the recipe here.

  3. Arrange The Moment: Take a slow walk in the woods and gather what’s there to create a lovely fall arrangement.
